I think this course has made a huge difference for me. I feel much more confident in the speeches that I have to give this semester, and I have experienced a significant reduction in anxiety surrounding these presentations. I also feel much more equipped to manage my anxiety in general.
All of it was especially helpful because I had no clue where to even start or how this would go. But this course and professor made it easier and stress free than I thought it was going to be. I will be continuing to use certain techniques I learned throughout this course to be able to continue to manage my anxiety with public speaking.
I took this course in hopes of not only reducing my public speaking anxiety but my anxiety in general as well, and I’m so glad that I did. I always looked forward to completing the assignments for this course because it never felt like a chore to me. I recommend this course to anyone who is thinking about taking it.
